Certified Organic Nasaa #3714 GARLIC SCAPES bunch

Scapes are harvested from an immature Garlic plant and are the succulent stems and flower bud. They provide fresh garlic when garlic is out of season and have a mild flavour and aroma of garlic. They are delicious in any meal needing a hint of garlic.
Can be eaten raw or cooked. Great in Asian dishes. Also in egg dishes or as a last-minute addition to sweet potatoes, carrots and squash. Delicious sautéd in a little butter and stirred into hot mashed potatoes. Used for garlic bread, pesto, risotto or even battered and deep fried. There are many recipes to try online.
Garlic Scapes are only available for a short time each year.
