Delicious eggs produced by pasture raised free range chickens along the Grand Ridge road, Mirboo North, South Gippsland. When pullets (teenage chickens) come to our farm they are building up nutrients in their bodies in preparation for laying. Along with locally milled feed we always have a paddock full of the previous seasons veggies to give them the boost they need to keep them healthy during laying.

Description

Our hens live in open fields spending their days eating high quality grain, lush pasture and whatever else they find. Our maximum stocking density for hens is 700/hectare however, if you get a chance to visit the farm you’ll discover they have a lot more room then that most days of the year. The health and wellness of our hens is prioritized over profitability and we believe this approach produces the best quality eggs and ensures our hens the best quality of life.
